NSW Small Business Commissioner provides free resources to assist businesses to qualify and compete for government tender contracts
The NSW Government is seeking to increase goods and service procurement from businesses within the state. However, while becoming a government supplier can be an amazing opportunity for businesses, it can be a tricky process to navigate.
This is why the NSW Small Business Commissioner has announced a free new program in partnership with TAFE to further develop businesses' skills, knowledge, and understanding of tendering processes.
The program's main goal is to simplify and streamline the qualification process of becoming a government supplier, while upskilling the business in the process.
Skills and knowledge gained through this program are applicable in a variety of other situations, such as tendering for private or local council contracts, and are also helpful in building your general know-how.

Euro – a quiet week in the Euro area in terms of data releases. In Italy, December confidence indices could report a deterioration in the sentiment of businesses and households. The European Commission’s flash estimate should outline a correction of consumer confidence in the Eurozone. In Spain and the Netherlands, the second estimates of GDP growth in Q3 should confirm the advance readings. United States – This week’s data releases in the United States should confirm the solid growth trend of final demand and prices in November. Personal spending and income should continue to increase, with the core deflator on the rise by 0.4% m/m. Orders of durable goods and existing home sales are expected to improve, rounding up the positive picture of economic activity. December consumer confidence should stay on a downtrend due to inflation fears. |
