Great news for businesses as the Government announces you can claim up to 50% of your employees wages when you put your staff through a traineeship.
The Government has released a new initiative called the Boosting Apprenticeship Commencements Wage Subsidy.
Businesses may be eligible to receive up to $28,000 in Government Incentives, when you enrol any number of your new staff into an approved qualification (Casual & Part time staff could also be eligible if they change employment contract ). The program aims to support employers - build skilled workers and support sustained economic recovery.

Sadiq Merchant joined Upskilled during its start-up phase in May 2009, and has played an integral role in building and growing the recruitment and customer service capability. In 2012, Sadiq was appointed as co-CEO, becoming sole CEO in December 2017.
Before joining Upskilled, Sadiq had more than 6 years’ experience in the information technology industry, and 5 years in the education sector with another RTO, and currently is a committee member of the ACPET and Department of Industries Reference Group.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and has completed postgraduate studies in Information Systems Management.
