Event Details

Poor mental health in the workplace has recently reached epidemic levels.

NSW has taken the lead as the pioneer State to enact an industry-wide Code of Practice, formally clarifying the legal obligations incumbent upon businesses to mitigate hazards in the workplace that harbor the potential to inflict psychological harm (as per in section 274 of the NSW Work Health and Safety Act 2011).

A growing number of leaders now recognise the importance of promoting a positive mental health culture, boosting employee engagement and safeguarding their brand. They are becoming increasingly mindful of the potential risks associated with poor workplace mental health, including decreased productivity, higher rates of absenteeism, and an uptick in Workcover claims. However, even with this understanding, leaders often struggle with a starting point and an effective framework to tackle these emerging issues.

Join ICCIAUS and Prima Group for a business breakfast where Prima will explore the compelling research that is emerging about how poor workplace mental health can be tackled at its root cause through better work design.

By engaging in this event, not only will you gain insights into proactive strategies for enhancing workplace mental health but you will also align with the regulatory landscape that is evolving to address these critical concerns.
