Viking Link Launch Ceremony! National Grid has formally launched Viking Link, a record-breaking 475 mile-long land and subsea cable connecting British and Danish energy grids for the first time. Around 1,400 km of Prysmian high-tech HVDC cables for the world’s longest electricity interconnector. Today at Prysmian's headquarters in Milan we hosted our Annual Shareholders’ Meeting, here are some highlights from the day: Robust Financials: The 2023 Financial Statements were approved, showcasing a strong year. Generous Dividend: A dividend of €0.70 per share was declared, totaling about €191 million. Leadership Renewal: A new Board of Directors was appointed for a three-year term, with Francesco Gori as Chairman and Massimo Battaini as CEO and General Manager. Commitment to Governance: The meeting also saw the appointment of Board Committees and a Lead Independent Director, emphasizing our dedication to robust corporate governance. As we move forward, we’re excited about the fresh perspectives our new board members bring and the continued innovation and sustainability efforts that lie ahead. Our Offshore Specialties division is proud to have hosted the top management of Enauta and Sapura Energy in Prysmian Center of Excellence of Vila Velha Brasil. Atlanta Project represents a major subsea project in the coast of Brasil where Prysmian is supplying cutting edge hybrid umbilical system, with enhanced power, control and hydraulic functions. Prysmian will deliver the Atlanta project her uniquely integrated ‘in house’ end to end verticalized solution, which is the unparalleled result of distinctive know how on electrical power and control, on data cables and on subsea hydraulic and injection systems.
