Prysmian Australia is supporting the development of the Canberra Data Centre's newest centre to be built in Eastern Creek, Sydney. This project is set to be the biggest data centre on a single premises, consisting of 5 buildings and a 155 megawatt capacity. Data centres play a significant role in supporting business applications through storing and managing business-critical data. This critical nature of this data means security and protective systems is high priority. Prysmian successfully supplied LV submains cables to Data Cell 3 of CDC as well as all 11kV mains for a private substation. The CDC project will showcase Prysmian's successful RE110 Low Smoke Zero Halogen cables. R-E-110 Low smoke, zero halogen, is a standout solution from our flexible cable range offering long life performance, superior quality and performance that ensures peace of mind. This cable can run at 110°C by means of using RE110 insulation and a HFS110 outer sheath. R-E-110 is easy to install flexible and fully complying with AS/NZS 5000.1 standards.
