SMEG awarded with the Good design awards 2020. In a complex year like the one that has just ended, the Chicago Atheneum honors SMEG and nine of its new products with the prestigious Good Design Award, in recognition of the company's success in combining the beauty and excellence of Made in Italy design with the innovation and the tradition of a know-how built in over seventy years of history in the sector.
The new cookware category was awarded in different items: the CKFF2601CRM frying pan, the CKFC2411CRM casserole, the CKFD2811CRM deep pan and the CKFW3001CRM wok, expression of maximum versatility in the kitchen, usable on any type of hob and in the oven.
The new Full Auto coffee machine, expected by the market in 2021, the latest to expand the coffee category, a concentrate of technology and style, was also awarded the prestigious award.
Among the large appliances, recognition went to the induction hob with integrated hood HOBD682R, the Linea induction hob in the exclusive 90cm SIM1963DS silver color, the 50 style MDF50 mixer and the FAB38 refrigerator, the most recent evolution of the iconic FAB range.
With an online proclamation in full compliance with anti-contagion regulations, the Chicago Atheneum selected 900 projects of excellence from 48 countries, a record of participation confirming the commitment made in the creation of excellent products, capable of opening up new value trajectories to consumers.
