Hi Everyone,

On behalf of myself and the whole ICCIAUS Board, we hope this email finds you well.

I am taking this opportunity to reach out to you, our wonderful Sponsors and Members, to see how you are coping during the COVID-19 pandemic.

During the previous months, I believe most of us have had no choice but to re-arrange our business models or day-to-day business operations to prepare for the challenges of a possible recession which we were not prepared for and we certainly didn’t need.

Despite this unfavorable economic situation, I am pleased to acknowledge that the many years of groundwork by Rachele Grassi and the team at the Chamber is paying off. In the last few months we have welcomed an increase in enquiries from both Italian and Australian businesses looking to broaden their opportunities which the Chamber has been able to assist with.

The Chamber continues to promote informative webinars, which have covered topics such as HR and business measures during COVID19 to EU and Australia Economic update v. If you have taken part, thank you. For the Members who have not had an opportunity to connect yet, I strongly encourage you to participate, as it is definitely worth the experience. The next webinar will be on the subject of the Federal budget on Monday 12th October 2020.

Looking forward to the future, we are working on some upcoming small events which we have organised with key Government speakers, so stay tuned.

Thank you for your ongoing support during these times. We are looking forward to seeing everyone very soon.

Stay safe,

Fabio Grassia,
President - ICCIAUS

Intesa San Paolo: Weekly Economic Monitor
Intesa San Paolo: Weekly Economic Monitor
The prospects for the global economy continue to be conditioned by the pandemic, which will once again be a problem in coming months. From the autumn in fact the risks linked to the overlap of COVID and seasonal flu will definitely prevail. Also in the more comforting central scenario, we expect a slowdown in growth in the 4th quarter. With or without a mass vaccine, we expect a recovery towards normality as from the end of spring 2021.
